The Miguel Hoyos Scholarship was founded in 2017 to honor Coach Miguel at his retirement from SWSC. 

The scholarship funds will be distributed to a player in need of financial support in order to play with SWSC. 

Applications will be accepted in the Fall TBD.

Dine to Donate Fundraiser

Why cook Wednesday?

Join your teammates at a local restaurant each month to raise money supporting the Paul Brock and the Miguel Hoyos Scholarship funds.

  • Dine —  Give yourself a lunch or dinner break at a Saratoga Springs restaurant one Wednesday each month.

  • Mingle — Invite your friends and family to join you. 

  • Teambuild — Enjoy some time building community with other SWSC teams.

  • Support —  Most restaurants donate 20% of sales to SWSC supporting our scholarship funds. Don't forget to bring the flyer to present with your order!

The Paul Brock Scholarship is awarded to two SWSC graduating seniors who have shown exceptional drive and service within the Club. The scholarship is in memory of Paul Brock, a nationally recognized youth soccer coach who was instrumental in establishing and growing the Club.

The Miguel Hoyos Scholarship fund has been established to help current players build their goals within the Club. The scholarship honors Coach Miguel for his years of coaching with SWSC.

The Saratoga-Wilton Soccer Club’s (SWSC) May Day Classic Soccer Tournament has been a fun and successful tournament for the past 24 years.

Last year we had 152 teams (Boys and Girls U8 – U19 age divisions) competing in our 3-day tournament at our home fields of Gavin Park in Wilton, NY.

 

Please join us this year! The May Day Classic Tournament is another great opportunity to check out prospective college players at the beginning of the 2021-2022 recruitment cycle.

SWSC guides and inspires student athletes to achieve their collective and individual potential through soccer.

2026 Spring Recreation Soccer Sign-Up (April 19 - June 7)

Our Emphasis is on Developing Exceptional Soccer Players

  • SWSC is a youth competitive, select, and premier-level club that builds technical and tactical soccer skills in our 450+ boys and girls aged 5-18. We're a dynamic club of teams that compete in CDYSL and EDP North Atlantic League, fall, winter, and spring competition, and in local and regional tournaments.
  • Each year, a number of SWSC players try out for and are selected to participate in ENYYSA’s Olympic Development Program.
  • In addition, a number of top SWSC teams participate in CDYSL Empire Cup Kickoff Classic, a high-level tournament run by CDYSL.
  • SWSC players compete on school teams in Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa, Mechanicville, Luzerne, Queensbury, and South Glens Falls.
  • Our highly-competitive players go on to play at the next level in college soccer.
  • SWSC - a 501(c)(3) - is headed by a Board of Directors comprised of parent volunteers who guide the direction of the club. Your expertise and ideas are welcome.

Deferred tryouts will take place during our SWSC Team Trainings. Players will be evaluated by our coaching staff to then potentially be placed on a team.
