Your Support Strengthens Our Players

SWSC counts on your assistance to keep the organization running smoothly and build the development of our players. *SWSC soccer families are required to volunteer 4 hours at our fundraising tournament - The May Day Classic.*

How the Volunteer Hours work:
-
The club requires that each family commit to a minimum of 4 volunteer hours fulfilled at the May Day Classic tournament. This is the club’s primary fundraiser. Believe it or not, the May Day Tournament alone needs to fill several hundred 4-hour shifts on the weekend of the tournament to run smoothly.
-
Along with the 4 required tournament hours, each family is required to provide one $350 bond check to their oldest player’s TEAM MANAGER. A bond check is a regular check (you don’t need to get a special one from the bank) that is held and serves as your guarantee that you’ll complete your MDC service hours. This bond check remains un-cashed and will be returned to you at the end of your 4-hour tournament volunteer shift.
-
If, at the end of the MDC, the 4 tournament volunteer hours have not been fulfilled, we will deposit the bond check. (The bond check is directly attached to the 4 required tournament volunteer hours, only.)
-
Make your bond check payable to: Saratoga-Wilton Soccer Club. Put your child's/children's name in the memo: Abby Wambach-GU18, Clint Dempsey-BU19
-
If your bond check is not received by your TEAM MANAGER BY THE DEADLINE, your child/ren's player passes will be pulled and they will not be able to compete in games or tournaments until a check is received.
