Selecting a soccer club with your child is exciting. We're proud to offer our players talent-building licensed coaches who are committed to investing their substantial soccer playing and coaching backgrounds into the development of each player's talent and sportsmanship.

Under the guidance of our Directors of Coaching, our coaches train Club players to play tactical soccer and thrive in a competitive soccer environment through indoor games during winter, and outdoor league play in Capital District Youth Soccer League (CDYSL) and the Elite Development Program (EDP) . Individual teams often pursue additional indoor and outdoor soccer tournament opportunities throughout the season, both regionally and out-of-state.

Competition for all Club teams requires travel within the Capital District and - for our highly-competitive Club teams - tournament play in the Northeastern States. Game times and locations vary and require travel.

SWSC coaches our players in two sporting divisions, competitive and select, for each dual-year-age-level based on both player skill-level and required time commitment. In recent years, SWSC has developed increasing numbers of skilled players, allowing SWSC to field and develop two select-level teams at several age levels. This is great news for our players, who benefit from our coaching and higher levels of competition.

All SWSC coaches strive to expand player growth through rigorous skill-building practices and matches that are challenging. All coaching decisions shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of the Saratoga-Wilton Soccer Club coaching staff and are made for the development of the player and the benefit of the team. Although we strive to provide quality-playing time for all players, there are no guarantees of equal playing time for players on Select & EDP teams at U14+ age divisions. Players are not guaranteed field position based on prior years field position, as skill and positional needs vary from team-to-team and year-to-year.
